Currently serves as the Executive Director of the Liver Surgery Department at Renji Hospital, affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Specializes in the surgical diagnosis and treatment of various forms of end-stage liver disease, hepatobiliary disorders, and benign and malignant liver tumors; has accumulated extensive clinical experience particularly in pediatric and adult liver transplantation.
The team has performed over 1,000 cases of various hepatic lobar or segmental resections, second-stage hepatic cancer resections, and repeat hepatic cancer resections; conducted more than 3,000 liver transplantation and repeat liver transplantation procedures; and carried out over 1,000 living-donor liver transplantation surgeries for infants and young children. The team was honored with the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Higher Education Institutions Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.
