Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant pancreatic and hepatobiliary tumors; performs laparoscopic and robotic radical surgical interventions for pancreatic cancer; conducts minimally invasive, function-preserving surgeries for benign or low-grade malignant pancreatic tumors; provides comprehensive treatment approaches for pancreatic cancer, including chemotherapy and targeted immunotherapy.

As the corresponding author, he has published over 250 SCI-indexed papers in internationally renowned journals such as J Clin Oncol, Cell Res, GUT, Ann Surg, Autophagy, Clin Cancer Res, and Cancer Res, with a total IF exceeding 1500; the highest individual journal impact factor for his publications is 50.717. He has been awarded the First Prize of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Science and Technology Award, the First Prize of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of the Shanghai Municipal Workers' Outstanding Innovation Achievement Award.
