With over 20 years of experience working in the Department of General Surgery at Ruijin Hospital, the individual currently serves as Deputy Director of the Department of General Surgery and as a Master's degree supervisor. The individual has accumulated extensive clinical expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders as well as gastrointestinal tumors, with particular proficiency in various surgical procedures for hepatobiliary and pancreatic neoplasms—especially demonstrating outstanding expertise in precision hepatectomy, minimally invasive hepatectomy, and living-related liver transplantation.
To date, the individual has participated in more than 300 liver transplantation cases across various techniques, including split-liver transplantation, reduced-liver transplantation, and living-related liver transplantation. In 2004, the individual completed advanced training in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery at Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong, specializing in living-related liver transplantation techniques. Since 2005, the individual has been responsible for both clinical and basic research on living-related liver transplantation at Ruijin Hospital; they have performed over 40 living-related liver transplantation cases, including Shanghai's first adult living-related right-hemis肝 transplantation with preserved hepatic middle vein.
