Specializes in the surgical treatment of various liver and biliary tract disorders (e.g., hepatocellular carcinoma, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, gallbladder cancer, portal hypertension, massive splenomegaly, etc.), including liver transplantation, open or laparoscopic anatomical hemihepatectomy and segmental hepatectomy, laparoscopic shunt procedure for portal hypertension, and splenectomy. Currently leads multiple research projects, including a General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; as the first author, has published over 40 articles, including more than 10 SCI-indexed papers, with an overall impact factor exceeding 30.
Has been awarded both the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Shanghai Municipal Government and the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the Ministry of Education. Serves as a member of the Organ Transplantation Management Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Liver Transplantation ERAS Working Group of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Biliary Tract Tumor Professional Committee of the Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association, and a member of the Sports Medicine Branch of the Shanghai Society of Sports Science.
