With many years of experience in general surgery, he has accumulated extensive clinical expertise in the field of biliary surgery and has achieved notable research outcomes in both basic and clinical studies on biliary malignancies. He is currently leading several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China; in recent years, he has published over 80 papers in domestic and international journals, including more than 30 papers indexed in SCI.
he has been granted two national invention patents, has applied for two additional national patents, and has received the Shanghai Municipal Medical Science and Technology Award as well as the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award. He serves as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery, and as an Editorial Board Member for the Chinese Journal of Practical Surgery, Chinese Journal of Surgery, Chinese Medical Journal, Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery, Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery, Shanghai Medical Editorial Board, and Editorial Board of Surgical Theory and Practice. He is a Standing Committee Member of the Surgical Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Head of the Biliary Surgery Group within the Surgical Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Standing Committee Member of the Surgical Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Chairman of the Biliary Surgeons Professional Committee under the Surgical Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and a member of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.).
