Specializes in laparoscopic-assisted total mesenteric exmination (CME) for colorectal cancer, total mesenteric exmination (TME) for rectal cancer, as well as low-, super-low-, and maximal sphincter-preserving surgeries for rectal cancer; provides comprehensive treatment for advanced colorectal cancer.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from the Second Military Medical University and his Ph.D. from the Department of Proctology at Changhai Hospital, affiliated with the Second Military Medical University. He has been engaged in clinical practice specializing in colorectal and anorectal surgery for an extended period, possessing extensive clinical experience and expertise in laparoscopic-assisted total mesenterectomy for colon cancer (CME), total mesenterectomy for rectal cancer (TME), as well as low-, ultra-low-, and maximal sphincter-preserving surgeries for rectal cancer.
He performs an average of over 300 surgical procedures annually and has completed more than 13,000 colonoscopy examinations and treatments. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Director of the Functional Group of the Anorectal Surgeons Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Chinese Integrative Medicine Anorectal Surgery Professional Committee, and a member of the Shanghai Municipal Committee for Integrative Medicine Anorectal Surgery. He is responsible for overseeing one scientific research project funded by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and has published over 30 academic articles, including more than 10 SCI-indexed papers.
