Liu Jia

She studied under Professor Liu Baoyan, President of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and President of the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies, and Chief Physicians He Liyun and Liu Zhishun. She is a disciple of Professor Liu Minru, a master of traditional Chinese medicine. She was invited to work on traditional medicine at the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters in Geneva. She also serves as an expert on the INCLEN Board of Directors (RAB) of the International Epidemiology Network, Vice Chairman of the Menstrual Disorders Management Branch of the Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Efficacy Evaluation Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Deputy Secretary-General of the Youth Committee of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Deputy Secretary-General of the Acupuncture Case Registry Alliance of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Standing Director of the Real-World Research Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Standing Committee Member of the Reproductive Medicine Committee of the Beijing Association of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine, Member of the Standardization Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies, and Member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Group of the Evidence-Based Medicine Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association.

She serves on the editorial boards and as a reviewer for several domestic and international journals. Her main research areas are methodological research in evidence-based medicine of integrated traditional and Western medicine, real-world clinical research in traditional Chinese medicine, and standardization research in acupuncture. He has led 21 research projects, including 14 national and provincial-level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and key projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has co-edited 11 books, served as the main drafter for 3 group standards and 3 WFAS international standards, and was the main author of and publisher of 1 WHO standard. He has published over 50 articles, including over 20 SCI-indexed foreign language articles. He has received six awards, including the Science and Technology Award of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Beijing Science and Technology Award, and the Science and Technology Award of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion.
