Zhao Zhizheng

Associate Chief Physician, MD, PhD, postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute of the United States, and studied under renowned Chinese oncology experts Professor Lin Hongsheng, Professor Hua Baojin, and Professor Hou Wei.

Since assuming this position, I have been committed to clinical and research work in the integrated treatment of tumors using traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and have been engaged in puncture biopsies of the lungs, liver, and abdominal organs for many years. I have accumulated considerable experience in the integrated treatment of lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, prostate cancer, breast cancer, lymphoma, and colorectal cancer using both traditional Chinese and Western medicine. I have insights into reducing the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, preventing postoperative recurrence and metastasis, and improving quality of life. I have presided over or participated in 11 national-level projects, including the National Twelfth Five-Year Science and Technology Support Program. I have published more than 20 papers in domestic and international journals and serve as a Youth Committee Member of the Oncology Professional Committee of the China Association of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine, Vice Chairman of the Youth Expert Committee on Lung Cancer of the Beijing Association for the Promotion of Chronic Disease Prevention and Treatment of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine, and a member of the Youth Expert Committee on Breast Cancer of the Beijing Association for the Promotion of Chronic Disease Prevention and Treatment of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine.
