Feng Bo

Specializes in laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer and gastric cancer, sphincter-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer, Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery, minimally invasive surgery for gallbladder, hernia, and thyroid disorders, as well as colonoscopy-based treatment of colorectal tumors.

He serves as a member of the Colorectal Surgery Group of the Surgical Society of the Chinese Medical Association; a member of the Colorectal Surgeons Committee under the Surgical Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; a member of the Colorectal Cancer Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association; and a member of the Colorectal Surgery Group of the Surgical Society of the Shanghai Medical Association; he also holds the position of Deputy Chair of the TMTE Professional Committee under the Surgical Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association.

He has led numerous research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and other funding agencies, and has spearheaded multiple randomized controlled trial (RCT) clinical studies both domestically and internationally. As corresponding author or first author, he has published over 40 papers in journals including JAMA Surgery, International Journal of Surgery, and Molecular Cancer. He has been honored with several awards, including the Second Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.
